Call for  Poster – Deutscher Bibliothekartag Hanover 2023

From 23 to 26 May 2023 the 111 Deutscher Bibliothekartag will take place in Hanover. As in previous years, there will again be the opportunity to present specialist contributions in the form of posters.

The submitted posters and clips will be reviewed and selected according to formal and content criteria. In the evaluation of the submissions we are guided by the following criteria:
– Actuality
– Practical relevance
As organisers, we attach great importance to the participants learning things that are model-like and relevant for professional practice. In reports from ongoing projects, it is expected that not only project goals are reported, but above all project results and implementation problems.
– Creative ideas and technical implementation
Presentation and implementation should be in line with the content to be conveyed. A creative approach to the topic and the appropriate use of the available resources are expected.
The best clip and the best poster will be awarded at the closing event on 26 May in Hanover.
Equivalent to the lectures, the posters will be archived on the BIB OPUS publication server following the 111. Deutscher Bibliothekartag.

The posters will be on display throughout the event. A separate poster area is available for this purpose. Two presentation dates are planned: Wednesday, May 24 and Thursday, May 25, both during lunch break. It is expected that authors will be available for explanations and questions in the poster exhibition area between 12:45 and 13:45 on these presentation dates.

Please note the following guidelines for the posters:
When creating your poster, please ensure that the copyright, image and personal rights of third parties are respected. Please submit a description of the poster and explain the idea and planned content of the poster.

The posters of Deutscher Bibliothekartag 2023 should then be brought to the congress centre in printed form in a uniform format A0 (84.1 x 118.9 cm), portrait. Please do not make any poster smaller than A1, portrait.
